The camera shows a black screen

Allow Camera in Settings → emdeplam (iOS) or Settings → Apps → emdeplam → Permissions (Android). Video also needs Microphone.

I tapped save but can’t find the photo

Allow Photos in Settings and save again. Photos and clips go to the “emdeplam” album (iOS: check Recents if the album isn’t there).

A photo won’t open

Try a JPEG or PNG. If it lives in iCloud or Google Photos, download it to your phone first.

My photo booth strip is dark or off-center

Face the light and prop the phone at eye level. Tap a shot to retake just that one.

My transition doesn’t line up

Keep the phone in the same spot and height as the last clip. Hard to see the ghost frame? Change its opacity or switch to Edges.

There’s a dark gap between clips

Dark first frames are trimmed for you. For the rest, drag each clip’s ends on the timeline in review.

Will I lose my photos if I uninstall?

Photos and clips in your library stay. Drafts and saved looks live only in the app, so they go.
